UpValley Family Centers is holding its annual online auction, Viva! Napa Valley, from Friday, Feb. 19, at 8 a.m. to Monday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m.
Through the generosity of Napa Valley vintners, individuals and businesses, UpValley Family Centers has amassed a collection of auction lots, including tamales and lobster dinners, croquet lessons at Meadowood and golf at Silverado, and Spottswoode cab and Kongsgaard chardonnay.
VIVA! Napa Valley can be accessed through UpValley Family Center's (UVFC) website, UpValleyFamilyCenters.org, where the link to the online fundraising site, Bidding for Good, is on the home page. Previews of lots are available for viewing now.
In 2015, UVFC served more than 3,000 people Upvalley. UVFC strengthened and expanded existing programs and partnerships, including its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, CLARO/CLARA youth mentoring program and service partnerships for older adults.
UVFC launched four new collective impact initiatives to better serve children, youth and families. In addition, UVFC managed a temporary expansion of its Emergency Assistance Program to provide aid to victims of the Valley Fire.
Each year, UVFC raises 100 percent of its organizational budget from local foundations, grants, donations from businesses and residents, and through efforts like this online auction.
