The County Fire that has burned 90,288 acres in Yolo and Napa counties since June 30 is now 86 percent contained, Cal Fire reported Wednesday morning.
In Napa County, Berryessa Knoxville Road was reopened near the Lake County line.
No additional acreage burned over the previous 48 hours. The number of structures destroyed remained at 20 as crews surveyed the fire zone in greater detail.
Full containment is expected by Thursday as crews mop up and strengthen perimeter control lines, Cal Fire said.
The number of firefighters working the County Fire dropped from 2,329 Tuesday to 1,606 on Wednesday.
