An altercation involving a couple resulted in the man's arrest Saturday evening, according to Napa Police.
Officers were called at 8:57 p.m. to a home in the 1600 block of York Street, after reports of an argument between 29-year-old Bernardo Zuniga-Nunez and his girlfriend, according to Cpl. Nick Dalessi. As the woman tried to leave the home, Zuniga tried to block the door, then grabbed and pulled her outside after she briefly escaped, Dalessi said.
Police detained Zuniga as he tried to leave the home, according to Dalessi. Zuniga, who has no listed address, was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of felony kidnapping and false imprisonment, along with two counts of violating probation.
