DUI checkpoint on Friday night yields arrests in Napa

Napa Police said that one person was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence during a DUI/Driver’s License checkpoint in Napa on Friday night.

Another six drivers were cited or arrested for operating a vehicle with either no license or a suspended or revoked license, police said. Three people were arrested on warrants.

A total of 1,284 vehicles were screened during the checkpoint, which was located on the 400 block of Soscol Avenue from 6 p.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday.

Police are planning to conduct DUI Saturation Patrol on Jan. 28.
