A 43-year-old Fort Bragg man convicted of 'false personation' in Sonoma County is wanted in Napa County on suspicion of similar charges.

Christopher Joseph Maki, who was arrested in American Canyon in March after allegedly being found in the Walmart parking lot with a loaded gun, is wanted in Napa County on suspicion of 'false personation', being a felon in possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded, stolen firearm and being in possession of drugs, among other charges.

During the incident in American Canyon, Maki gave a false name to officers. He is suspected of having done this in Sonoma County as well. Maki has been arrested by Healdsburg and Santa Rosa Police in the last year and has been convicted of impersonation and grand theft.

Maki pleaded no contest to the impersonation charge on June 22. Maki is currently in custody at North County Detention Facility in Santa Rosa. His total term to be served is two years.
