There will be a community discussion called, “What is Next After Measure C?” on Saturday, July 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Napa Valley Unitarian Universalists Sanctuary at 1625 Salvador Ave.
The Napa County Green Party, the only political party that supported Measure C, which was narrowly defeated in the June election, and the Institute for Conservation, Advocacy, Research and Education (ICARE), a local environmental nonprofit focusing on watershed health, will facilitate an open forum on efforts to protect watersheds and oak woodlands in Napa County.
"We have heart, insight, and resolve to live in a safe and sustainable community that protects the health, safety, and welfare of the public good,” said Chris Malan, ICARE executive director and Napa County Green Party co-coordinator. "This meeting is to learn about what went wrong in the Measure C campaign, what we did right, how we continue to build momentum, and what comes next."
