Napa County opens a Pop-Up Recovery Center for fire victims

  • Updated

Napa County Planning, Building and Environmental Services has established a Pop-Up Recovery Center to address all permitting related to the devastating wildfires in the unincorporated areas.

Information provided includes government or private debris and ash removal programs, assistance with Right of Entry Forms and questions about EPA/Army Corps of Engineers work, temporary electrical permits, agricultural electrical permits, demolition permits for private debris and ash removal, and building permits for the reconstruction or replacement of structures within the fire areas.

The separate Pop-Up Recovery Center will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, in the Auditor’s Conference Room in the basement of the Napa County Administrative Building, 1195 Third St., in Napa.

Take the elevator to the basement and sign in electronically. A receptionist will greet people and direct them to a staff member who will help answer their questions and meet their permitting needs.

The county's planning department will continue its normal business operations at its public counter on the second floor of the Administration Building and will also be available to provide information, including Right of Entry Forms, at the Local Assistance Center, 2751 Napa Valley Corporate Drive, Building A.
