Napa Police announced Thursday that they had two suspects in custody following an investigation into an early morning stabbing Monday at the Green Door, 2955 Solano Ave.
A 25-year-old man was stabbed multiple times during an altercation shortly after midnight at the west Napa bar, police said. He was treated at Queen of the Valley Medical Center and later released.
That same night, two additional men showed up at Queen of the Valley with stab wounds, police said. Police detectives and Special Enforcement Unit detectives joined the investigation.
One of the additional stabbing victims was Valentin Sanchez, 21, of Napa, who sustained non-life-threatening wounds, including a facial cut, police said.
On Wednesday, police arrested Sanchez for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon causing great bodily injury at the Green Door incident. He was on parole from state prison, police said.
Police also arrested Jose Rivera, 22, of Napa for investigation of the same charge. Rivera is suspected of causing the injuries that sent the original 25-year-old man to the hospital, police said.
The third man treated at Queen of the Valley on Monday -- a 24-year-old -- was treated and released, police said.
Police said they are looking into whether the bar incident was gang related.
