Napa police made an arrest Saturday iin a two-week-old case in which police allege that a man mimed sexual behavior in front of a 17-year-old female at the Napa Wal-Mart on Lincoln Avenue.
Police said the suspect tried talking to the teenager. When she rebuffed him, he simulated masturbation on top of his sweatpants.
On Saturday morning, police responded to a pedestrian check call at Conserv Fuel, 3001 Jefferson St., where they encountered Eric Martin Anderson, 51, a transient.
Anderson admitted his behavior at Wal-Mart, but thought it was OK because he didn't expose himself, police said.
Anderson, who was on probation, was searched. Officers found a makeshift glass smoking pipe, police said.
He was booked into the Napa County jail for possible charges of annoying/molesting a child, engaging in lewd conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.
