Napa Police said they arrested a motorist who drove for about six minutes through Old Town Wednesday night, running stop signs and nearly striking parked vehicles while a patrol car was on his tail.

Officers began following the motorist when he failed to obey a stop sign at Coombs and Division streets shortly after midnight, police said.

Police activated their red lights and siren, but the motorist kept driving at a slow speed through the residential neighborhood south of Third Street, police said.
