Napa Police's DUI Enforcement Team will be out Saturday night looking for alcohol- and drug-impaired motorcycle riders.
Extra officers will patrol between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. in areas with high frequencies of DUI collisions and/or arrests, police said.
Also Saturday, additional officers will be patrolling for violations made by motorists and riders alike that can lead to motorcycle crashes. They will be cracking down on both those operating regular vehicles and motorcycles who are violating traffic safety laws.
Over the past three years, motorcycles have been involved in 36 injury crashes in Napa, police said.
