Napa Police screened 787 vehicles during a DUI/Driver’s License checkpoint conducted at the 2400 block of Jefferson Street between 6 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday, according to a press release.
Officers were specifically looking for drivers who were driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but found none. Police said seven drivers were evaluated for impairment and eight drivers were cited or arrested for operating a vehicle without a license or with a suspended or revoked license.
