A suspected heroin dealer was arrested in Napa last Tuesday night after selling heroin to an undercover detective, according to the Napa Special Investigations Bureau.

Andrew Joseph Whitman, 27, of Petaluma had allegedly advertised his heroin sales on Craigslist, where NSIB detectives contacted him and arranged to meet with him. An undercover detective met with Whitman on the 200 block of Soscol Avenue about 11 p.m. Tuesday and bought drugs from him, officials said. Whitman was arrested following the alleged sale.

Whitman was found to be have an additional 80 doses of heroin and a digital scale, officials said.

He was booked at the Napa County jail on suspicion of selling heroin and being in possession of heroin for sale.
