Lorraine went peacefully to God after a long battle of dementia, with her loving son Steve at her side. She was born January 25, 1930 to Rene Raymond Guerra and Phyllis Muriel Grover in Oakland, CA.
She was married on November 18, 1951 to Joseph Carlo Clerici. They lived in Vallejo, CA where Lorraine and Joe began their family. Joe started building their new dream home in Napa Junction (American Canyon) where they settled in 1964. Joe’s career excelled while Lorraine remained busy raising her two boys, Steven and David. In 1982, Joe retired from his job at Mare Island. After that they traveled world wide with over 16 trips including three to Italy. They really enjoyed being together and enjoyed every minute. Lorraine was known for sharing her life, home, fabulous cooking and entertaining. In 2008, Joe placed her in Green Hills Care Home. Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, her son David in 1985, and her husband Joe of over 64 years of marriage in 2009. She is survived by her son Steve and wife MaryAnn and many loving family and friends. Special thanks to Napa Valley Hospice for their service and care. Her Celebration of Life will be Saturday April 4 at 1 p.m. at Tulocay Cemetery at 411 Coombsville Rd., Napa, CA, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, please consider a charitable donation to her home at Green Hills Care Home, 115 Thayer Way, American Canyon, CA 94503 where they treated her as family and loved her. I loved them as my own family and will never forget their kindness. God Bless you All.
