A patient at Napa State Hospital was arrested on Thursday for suspicion of battery against a peace officer, assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury upon a peace office, assault with intent to commit mayhem and three counts of resisting an officer, according to officials with the Department of State Hospitals.

During the alleged incident on Jan. 5, the patient allegedly assaulted three hospital police officers, causing minor injuries, while being transported between units, said Ralph Montaño, a hospital spokesperson.

Marc Dhollander, 44, was booked into Napa County jail on a warrant matching the description by Montaño on Thursday.

Due to privacy laws, Montaño could not confirm that the patient involved in the alleged assault was Dhollander.
