A 28-year-old Nevada man was arrested after allegedly stealing one vehicle and then entering another vehicle, which was occupied by a father and his young child, in the South Napa Marketplace on Friday night, according to Napa Police.

Police were first notified that a vehicle had been stolen from the Chevron gas station on Imola and Soscol Avenues just before 8 p.m. Friday. The victim said that when they came out of the store, their vehicle was missing, police said.

The vehicle was found unoccupied just a few lots over at In-N-Out Burger. Witnesses reported seeing a man driving the vehicle recklessly before stopping, getting out and getting on the ground, police said.

The same man then entered another vehicle, which was occupied by a father and his child, police said. The driver began kicking and punching the stranger in his vehicle, police said.
