A Napa transient was arrested after allegedly stealing a local bakery’s van from Napa Gas on Saturday, according to Napa Police.

The report was called in at 5:10 a.m.

Police later located the van at Imola Avenue and Jefferson Street. The driver of the vehicle, Allen Boyenger, 22, was under the influence of a controlled substance and admitted to stealing the van, police said.

Boyenger was arrested and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and for possession of a stolen vehicle.
