Two authors with experience in self-publishing are the featured speakers at a free self-publishing seminar on Tuesday at the Napa County Library in downtown Napa.

The seminar will feature Nancy Rose, author of the book “Raise the Child You’ve Got — Not the One You Want,” and D. Patrick Miller, author and literary consultant with Fearless Books.

Both authors will discuss their own experiences with self-publishing, and the benefits of self-publishing in today’s market. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentations.

The seminar will help authors and aspiring writers decide if self-publishing is the right path for them. This project is supported in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.

The program is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Napa Main Library, 580 Coombs St.
