An attempted vehicle stop Saturday afternoon ended with the arrest of a female driver, according to the Napa County Sheriff's Office.
At 1:30 p.m., deputies tried to pull over a car driven westbound out of Napa by 52-year-old Suzanne Elizabeth Connolly for a moving violation, but she refused to stop for an undetermined distance until reaching the 1100 block of Mount Veeder Road more than a mile west of Napa, according to Sgt. Eric Swift.
During the stop, Connolly tried to flee on foot before deputies detained her, Swift said.
Connolly, who said she is an Oakland resident but had no confirmed address, was booked into the Napa County jail on a felony allegation of resisting arrest, as well as a misdemeanor allegation of fleeing peace officers on foot.
One deputy sustained a minor injury during the incident, according to Swift.
