A Clearlake woman was hospitalized after a single-vehicle wreck Saturday morning north of Calistoga, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At about 10 a.m., Michelle Espindola was driving a 2002 Ford on northbound Highway 29 south of Livermore Road when the vehicle crossed the center line, ran off the west edge of the roadway, struck a dirt embankment and rolled over, CHP said in a news release.

Espindola, who was alone in the vehicle, was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with what the highway patrol described as major injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
