A series of public forums starting later this month will give Yountville residents the chance to weigh in on how to preserve the Upvalley town's character and quality of life.
Envision Yountville is an 18-month land-use planning process to help town leaders plot out the town's future needs and define its values, ahead of possible changes to the town general plan. The program will include five community meetings, with the first scheduled for Feb. 16 and others planned for March 9 and 23, April 13 and May 18.
All forums will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays in the Community Center, 6516 Washington St.
You have free articles remaining.
Key issues to be discussed include community character, agricultural preservation, mobility and the balance of local businesses, the town said in a press release. All meetings will be recorded and made available via the document library on the Yountville website, townofyountville.com, for future viewing.
