War is not a game, and guns are not toys.
Death may come easily to men no longer boys.
Playing love and not war is really an easy game.
The rules are simple, no one is hurt.
And no one is to blame.
Hands are shaken, there are pats on the back,
Saying thank you for being so brave.
We had some fun, and no one
Was sent to an early grave.
No one can say that we are selfish or mean;
We gave all the help we should.
And if we need to help some more,
We are sure that we could.
So we give to others who are in need,
To save ourselves from lives of greed.
We no longer play the war game
To bring us fortune or fame
Without a loser there would be no winner.
