Thank you, Brenda Luntey of Redding for your excellent letter demanding the preservation of the Napa High Indian (“No right to change mascot,” April 17). Well stated.
With so many critical problems facing our community, it seems a waste of time, energy and newspaper space devoted to a manufactured issue.
Is it not clear a large majority of the Napa community supports the retention of the treasured NHS Indian symbol?
