Sun Country Airlines announced Wednesday it will fly non-stop from Santa Rosa to Las Vegas between Aug. 30 and Dec. 2.

Planes will leave the Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport on Thursdays and return on Sundays from McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. Sun Country Airlines is offering introductory fares as low as $59 each way.

Sun Country Airlines also flies non-stop between Santa Rosa and Minneapolis-St.Paul, Minnesota, between June 29 and Oct. 28.

“We are pleased that Sun Country sees the value and strength in our market to add Las Vegas,” Sonoma County Supervisor James Gore said in a statement. “Las Vegas is a highly requested destination from our residents, and we are confident that it will be a great success for Sun Country too.”

The Sonoma County airport also offers non-stop flights to San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Orange County and San Diego.
