Napa County is a very special place to live and work, as I discovered first-hand several years ago former administrator of the California Farm Bureau Federation and former undersecretary of the California Department of Food and Agriculture.
My experiences working there and contacts since are most memorable because of the people. I have had the opportunity to work with farmers and ranchers from throughout California and in many other states.
One of the amazing people I worked with is Cio Perez. He was always thoughtful, respectful, honest and considerate of the needs of everyone when seeking solutions to difficult challenges. Cio would often participate in discussions and then draw people together with solutions reflecting common agreement.
He has high ethical standards and works very hard to get a job done. He is always eager to hear opposing opinions and able to make decisions based on facts rather than emotion. He is someone who seeks solutions to common challenges rather than ignoring the issue. I fully support Cio in his desire to help improve the agricultural way of life for Napa residents.
