Death penalty should be reinstated

In regards to your commentary “Death penalty reconsidered again” (June 14): I did not know Caryl Chessman, who was on death row. Chessman professed his innocence of the brutal crimes. I did know a death row inmate who stated that Chessman bragged about his vicious crimes.

The death penalty should be reinstated.
