We are all so full of thankfulness for the first responders and firefighters who worked so heroically on our behalf. They will be in our hearts for a long time to come.
I also give thanks for the many wonderful nonprofits here in Napa County who work 365 days a year, year after year, to nourish our communities – body and soul. This is a great time of year to show our support for them – ‘tis the season! Hopefully, most of us have heard about the Napa Valley Give!Guide, which provides a great opportunity to learn about, and support, 46 Napa County nonprofits.
The Give!Guide enables us to give to one or 10 or 46 nonprofits with a single click at NVGiveGuide.org. The scope of the nonprofits included in the Give!Guide is wide – from addressing food insecurity, to preschool education, to protecting the environment, to animal rescue (to name a few). This November/December campaign has raised $960,000 for nonprofits in its first four years through donations small and large … donations start at $10. Many of the nonprofits have business partners that match donations so your $10 becomes $20.
I encourage everyone to go to NVGiveGuide.org (or pick up a catalog at your favorite coffee shop) to show support for the amazing work these dedicated organizations do throughout the year. Our communities are so fortunate to have them.
