Join 40 Days for Life

From the From The Mailbag: A wreck waiting to happen series
  • Updated

Napa's 19th 40 Days for Life campaign begins Wednesday, Sept. 27 in front of the Planned Parenthood Clinic at 1735 Jefferson St. 375 cities around the world will join a mobilization effort to save unborn babies, assist their parents and close abortuaries like Planned Parenthood.

Why Planned Parenthood? Their clinics, while claiming that they deal in "health care," are the No. 1 provider of abortions to the tune of our tax dollars. They receive half a billion dollars a year.

International Planned Parenthood reported more than 1 million unborn babies, 1,094,679, were eliminated in 2016. That's roughly the equivalent population of Austin, Texas.

Since 40 Days for Life began in College Station, Texas, 89 abortion facilities have gone out of business.

Napa is fortunate to have two organizations who offer free help to pregnant women, Alpha Pregnancy Clinic and Birthright.

The Napa Valley Culture of Life is the local sponsor. Ana and Isidro Rodriguiz are the captains who are responsible for filling the hours of 8 a.m to 8 p.m. every day of the campaign. Those interested in joining this prayful, peaceful effort are invited to go to 40daysforlife.com/napa or call Chris at 252-0191.
