I can sympathize with the people who lost their homes in the recent fires. I too lost my home in the floods of the mid '50s and early '60s. This was in Pepperwood, California on the Eel River and everything was gone.
Been there done that. My father used to say it's a great life if you don't weaken so stay strong everybody. My motto is, forget the stocks, forget the money, I've got my Honey and a dog that pees on the carpet.
Just be happy, be happy every time I think about this I laugh and laugh, it makes me happy. It's kind of dumb but so what?
I will leave you now with a poem I read years ago and it goes like this: The thing goes the farthest toward making life worthwhile that costs the least and does the most is just a pleasant smile.
