The Pacific Union College women’s basketball team lost its last two games of the season, falling to UC Merced, 68-55, and Cal Maritime, 57-45, last week at Pacific Auditorium in Angwin.
The Pioneers end the season at 2-19 overall, 1-13 in the California Pacific Conference.

Haley Murphy and Grace Murphy are members of the UC San Diego women’s team, which won the 2018 Pacific Collegiate Swimming and Diving Conference Championships last week at the Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center in La Mirada, Calif.

Kathleen Scavo, a Justin-Siena graduate, tied for 40th place for the University of Oregon women’s golf team at the Allstate Sugar Bowl, which wrapped up on Tuesday at the English Turn Golf and Country Club in New Orleans.
Scavo had rounds of 72, 81 and 76 for a 13-over-par 229 total.
