Eastlake-Chula Vista, which went 32-4 last year, is No. 1 in the rankings.

Vacaville, a member of the Monticello Empire League which was 24-4 last year, is No. 25.

Elk Grove is No. 3, Foothill-Pleasanton is No. 11, Davis is No. 16, De La Salle-Concord is No. 20, and St. Mary’s-Stockton is No. 22.

Miramonte-Orinda is among those schools listed on the bubble.

Kelsi Maday, a Napa High School graduate, is batting .415 (17-for-41) with two doubles, a triple, two home runs and seven RBIs for the UC San Diego softball team (9-4 overall, 4-4 California Collegiate Athletic Association).

The Pacific Union College women’s basketball team lost its last two games of the season, falling to UC Merced, 68-55, and Cal Maritime, 57-45, last week at Pacific Auditorium in Angwin.

The Pioneers end the season at 2-19 overall, 1-13 in the California Pacific Conference.

Imari Clinton scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds and four assists in the game against UC Merced.

The Pioneers were also led by Kylie Beal (11 points, four rebounds), Karla McCommas (10 points, six rebounds, two steals), Makana Kaaikala-Caban (eight points, three rebounds, two assists), Molly Hargon (seven points, three rebounds, two assists), and Gabriela Lua (five points, two assists).

In the game against Cal Maritime, the Pioneers were led by Clinton (15 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals), McCommas (eight points, seven rebounds), Beal (six points, two rebounds), Hargon (five points, four rebounds), Kaaikala-Caban (five points, three rebounds, two assists), Faith Williams (three points, two rebounds, two assists), and Lua (three points).

Haley Murphy and Grace Murphy are members of the UC San Diego women’s team, which won the 2018 Pacific Collegiate Swimming and Diving Conference Championships last week at the Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center in La Mirada, Calif.

Haley Murphy and Grace Murphy are former members of the Napa Valley Swim Team and each graduated from New Technology High.

Kathleen Scavo, a Justin-Siena graduate, tied for 40th place for the University of Oregon women’s golf team at the Allstate Sugar Bowl, which wrapped up on Tuesday at the English Turn Golf and Country Club in New Orleans.

Scavo had rounds of 72, 81 and 76 for a 13-over-par 229 total.
