Stephen Curry hit his 300th 3-pointer of the season in the Golden State Warriors 108-103 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Curry finished the game with eight 3-pointers and could have had nine but for the lights going out while he was shooting. It is only the fifth time in NBA history a player has hit 300 3-pointers in a single season. Curry is now responsible for four of those five seasons, with James Harden the only other player to do so in 2018-19. Curry set the record for the most 3-pointers in a season in 2015-16 when he hit 402 of them. He is currently on track to beat that record this year after hitting the 300 mark one game earlier.
