Vintage High School’s track and field team sent athletes to two separate meets over the weekend.

Mackenzie Mills headed south to the Arcadia Invitational, the nation’s top high school track and field meet. Mills posted a season-best time of 11:03 in the 3,200 meters, which now ranks her first in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section.

Many others headed to the 20-team Santa Rosa Invitational, where numerous top-10 places were earned.

Leading the way were double-event winners Brandon Beck (100 in 10.96 and 200 in 22.23) and Angelique Lopez (100 in 12.70 and 200 in 26.48).
