Malia Cruz went 4 for 4 with three runs scored to lead Malloy Imrie & Vasconi Insurance past Conwell Insurance, 17-6, in Napa Valley Girls Fastpitch Association Senior Division action Thursday night at Kiwanis Park.
Lexi Vavricka went 3 for 4 with a grand slam, five RBIs and three run scored for the winners, while Bryce Gagne was 2 for 4 with an RBI and three runs. Angie Bruno added a run and RBI, Sarah Husted four runs, Naomi Martin two runs, and Haley Geary one run.
For Conwell, Cierra Yeager was 3 for 4 with two RBIs, Suzanna Carbone and Michelle Lozano each went 2 for 4 with an RBI, Simone Sullivan was 1 for 3 with an RBI and three runs 1 RBI, Nicole Stice went 1 for 2 with a run, and Jennifer Cardenas scored a run.
In the first of two Major Division games on Wednesday, Binstock Enterprises downed Coleman Insurance 10-7 as Molly Travis went 2 for 3 with two runs, Izabela Sanchez scored twice, Daisy Alvarez, Daniela Contreras, Emily Travis, Diana Garcia, Sidney Claudino and Layne Mecchi each scored once.
For Coleman, Deborah Rodriguez went 2 for 2 with a double, walk and two runs, Grace Sedgley was 1 for 2 with a walk and two runs, Jaida Fulcher went 1 for 3 with a double and run, Ava Moreci was 1 for 3 with a run, Amaya Garcia went 1 for 1 with a walk, and Angelica Ledezma scored a run.
In Wednesday’s later game, it was Soscol Auto Body over Bicycle Works 10-3.

On Tuesday, Branagan Insurance got past A.M.P. Construction 9-7 as Sami Olesen and Haley Schreiner each went 3 for 5. Starting pitcher Clare Halsey was 1 for 5, relief pitcher Melissa Costilla went 1 for 5, and Helen Talde and Elizabette Reyes each went 2 for 4.
For A.M.P., Bella Campbell went 3 for 3 with two RBIs, Lindsey Claudino pitched and went 3 for 4, Jewel Kenny went 1 for 2, and Ashley Kelly also pitched.

Pope wins tournament
Local action between July 5 and 12 saw Napa’s Jamie Pope win a Girl 14 Open Singles tournament by defeating Lafayette’s Martha Burns in the quarterfinals, 6-0, 6-0, Portola Valley’s Brynn Brady in the semifinals, 6-2, 6-1, and San Jose’s Emma Gao in the final, 6-1, 6-1.
