Santa Rosa’s E.R. Sawyer Jewelers will take over 1343 Main St. in St. Helena, the now-closed location of David’s Jewelers. Owners Doug and Ame Van Dyke will hold a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4.
The new jewelry store will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, with a ribbon cutting at 4 p.m. with St. Helena Mayor Alan Galbraith. A reception follows until 7 p.m.
The open house continues on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
E.R. Sawyer Jewelers has been a family-owned business since 1879 and the Van Dykes have built their reputation by delivering the highest quality jewelry in a comfortable and welcoming setting from knowledgeable professionals. They offer unique jewelry selections, custom creations, exclusive designer collections, appraisals, jewelry design and redesign, watch and jewelry repair onsite with state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, according to a press release.
After being in business for 40 years, David and Bobbe Clark retired in October 2015.
