St. Helena continues its march into the past. I’ve written before frustrated by this small, angry, wealthy, lawsuit happy, disruptive band of a few as they do their thing. They seem to enjoy empty storefronts, vacant streets, businesses going elsewhere, lower tax revenues, little day or night life in St. Helena while nearby cities like Healdsburg, Yountville and downtown Napa are dynamic and prosper.
There is a reason rearview car mirrors looking backward are small and front windshields looking forward are large. Kudos to Mayor Galbraith and the many who truly care about finding the balance between smart growth and balanced development. Thank you.
